Randy and Pam Frank

Rev. Randolph L. Frank, BCC, is a Wisconsin born and raised author and ordained Pastoral Counselor and minister. He currently serves as Chaplain at Froedtert Health Community Memorial Hospital in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin. Randy moved from the “front office to bedside” after serving as a senior executive and consultant to hospitals and healthcare organizations across the country for 35 years. During his career he had the opportunity to write several newsletters and books on various health care management challenges.

He also served as a commissioned officer for 12 years in the U.S. Army Reserve Medical Service Corps during the Viet Nam War,  as a Captain. 

While leading a Bible study, God made clear His desire and calling for him to serve patients more personally. Therefore, he attended Bethel Seminary in St. Paul, Minnesota where he studied theology and pastoral care.  He has also taught Ethics serving on the faculty of the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, VA and Concordia University in Mequon, Wisconsin.

For the past 15 years Randy has served his calling as a Board Certified (BCC) healthcare chaplain in hospice and hospitals and as Pastor of Congregational Care in a large church.

He has written several books including, Great is God's Faithfulness, This is the Way, Walk in It (Vol. I&II), "Hospital Parables: "Front Office to Bedside" and his most recent God's Gracious Creatures: Tales of Wings and Tails.

The author’s love of all things outdoors developed from growing up fishing and hunting as well as lettering in varsity college sports. His love of snow includes serving the National Ski Patrol for many years and skiing several times in the cross-country ski marathon, the Birkebeiner.

Randy has been married to Pam, a Registered Nurse, for over 49 years who together have two married adult sons and three grandsons in Montana and Oregon. Their Christian sons and grandsons share his same love for fly-fishing, hunting and God’s creation.
